The Story of Shani

Shani, a beautiful six year old Boxer, was presented having collapsed on her walk. She was unconscious for some minutes and then slowly recovered.

On presentation her heartbeat was very irregular.

The specialist cardiologist to whom we referred Shani, confirmed a diagnosis of Cardiomyopathy. Boxers are very prone to this degenerative heart disease and often die within three months of diagnosis.

Dr Manueal Truby said, “We were all devasted but determined to do everything possible to help.”

The cardiologist prescribed medication to eliminate fluid build up, decrease workload on her heart and strengthen her heart muscle.

Dr Trueby said that although she has not treated this condition with alternative therapies she did some research and found that the flower essence Oak was indicated.

Oak is for the big hearted personality which is brave and strong, does not complain, hides tiredness and show relentless effort. Dr Trueby gave the remedy to Shani as a gift.

Shani did very well for eight months. Her owner then rang to say that she had started collapsing several times a day and looked like she was dying. All the medication was the same but the remedy had run out a week ago.

Dr Trueby reports that she made up a repeat of the remedy and had it couriered to Shani’s owner. “Within 24 hours Shani was well again and no longer collapsing,” she said.

Shani died peacefully about one year after diagnosis. Her owners were very grateful for the additional time shared with their beloved pet.
